9mm Ammunition, properly referred to because the 9x19mm Parabellum Cartridge, was designed by Georg Luger and introduced in 1902 by the German weapons manufacturer Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken for the Luger series of pistols.
Its low cost and widespread availability has lead it to become the world’s most popular pistol cartridge. 9mm ammo is found as loot around the map, typically in boxes of 15 or 30 rounds. they can be found as individual boxes or groups of boxes, generally together with a 9mm weapon.
